The exhibition Ukraine 2004: encounters offers a place of exchange and communication between Canadian and Ukrainian communities. A logbook will accompany the exhibition in which visitors leave their impressions, ideas and messages.

After having traveled throughout Canada and Ukraine over a twelve-month period, the exhibit and the collected texts will result in a final publication and exhibit.

Michel Huneault, Pierre Labrie and Dominic Morissette, three Montreal-based photographers, were in Ukraine at the time of the re-run of the presidential elections second round. They have traversed the north, centre, south and east of the country.
